BIOS

'Bios' is the result of a personal animation project spanning multiple disciplines such as storyboarding, 3D animation, puppetry, live action, javascript, compositing, graphic design and typography.

The movie shows a dreamlike circuit of exploration episodes through an abstract virtual world - it features mysterious beings appearing in a fictitious city.

The ambiguous title 'bios' indicates the translation of the digital 'bit-colored' space (realized through a Basic-Input-Output-System of a computer) to the entire universe and life in it ('bios'). It states "...just be glad to be here..."
